No, you do not need either. However, an account on our website gives you access to many cool perks and features such as a member-only forum and early access Scratch projects. Having a Scratch account allows you to love, favorite, and comment on our projects, follow us, participate in the Scratch community, and much more!
No, we are not affiliated with the Scratch Team. However, we have been a member of Scratch's Youth Advisory Board since October 2025.
We have an active GitHub account at github.org/leotimechannelorg where we release many of our Python and other projects, plus official BETA tests for Scratch projects (however, Early Access scratch projects are on our website and require an account to access). Aside from that, our Replit account @AjayRao5 has a few WIP projects.
Scratch project releases are not on a set schedule, but expect 1-4 projects every 2 months, with some months (like October and December) being busier than others.
Box News, our political parody channel, gets new videos roughly weekly. Leotime Channel, our main channel, gets videos occasionally.
We have a YouTube channel @LeotimeChannelYT. It is mainly for content related to my software and Scratch, plus some fun stuff throughout there. We also have a channel dedicated to political parodies called @BoxNewsTruth.
Yes, Scratch allows safe external links like our website to be displayed (however, users without the Scratch Addons browser extension will not see a clickable link). Additionally, you can create a forum post on our website to link to if Scratch is, for example, preventing you from adding a Google Drive link to a project description (yes, this is a real issue!).
Leotime Channel was created in September of 2019. This website was created in November 2021.

We are located in San Diego, CA, US, so all events take place in the PST/PDT (GMT-8/GMT-7, depending on the time of year) timezone.
