What we do

What we do

We create software on Scratch and GitHub such as games and productivity apps. We have a YouTube channel where we post Scratch tutorials, news, and other entertaining videos, plus a seperate gaming channel. We are also a part of the Scratch community, and host events and competitions (see: Contests).

Our mission

Our goal is to provide you with useful software on Scratch and GitHub, as well as enjoyable content on YouTube.

On Scratch

Leotime Channel was created on September 12, 2019 for simple coding projects on Scratch. In October we released our first project, "Welcome to Scratch" and soon after we released our first game, "Corn Hole", which is also our most popular game. During COVID, we started releasing more projects, such as "Shark Feast", "Save the City", and "Video Backdrops and Voice" (since renamed to "Video filters and computer voice"). We also started the Pumpkin Run series and Mira Royal Detective studio, the latter still being our most popular studio. In 2021, we released "Coin Central" a math game where you solve equations to complete levels. We also started creating scratch tutorials. Later in 2021, we launched our website, and in early 2022 we reached 100 shared projects! In 2022 we started developing more complex projects. In November 2022 we released "Space Empire", our best game yet, for the CoderSchool 2022 Outer Space Competition and placed in the top 10, and also updated "Decorate a Christmas Tree" to have a modern look and added more features. In late 2023 and early 2024, we released many complex projects, including a Pumpkin Run Platformer, based on our animation 'Pumpkin Run', an anniversary clicker to celebrate our 4th anniversary, and music streaming app "ScratchMusic". December of 2024 saw a major annual update to "Decorate a Christmas Tree", which added even more features and also showcased our coding abilities in Scratch. Our plans for 2025 include a major update for "ScratchMusic" and "PythonCat", an experimental Python compiler in Scratch.

On GitHub and other coding platforms

We started coding in Python in 2021, but we didn't announce any projects outside Scratch until 2022, when we released this announcement on Scratch. From there, we continued to develop more projects in Python, with 2024 seeing our first software release: a Dijkstra algorithm-based flight path simulator. In 2025, we released "Compressr", a free media compression app for macOS.

On YouTube

In 2025, we started posting content on YouTube. It started with a few small videos and shorts, but we are now expanding to include a variety of video types, ranging from Scratch tutorials to gaming videos and parody videos. During the summer, we launched our gaming channel, BlueGamer!
