It's happening, ScratchMusic's long-awaited 2.0 update is here! This update brings significant upgrades to the project, including 30+ new songs and major UI improvements!

The major improvements:
You can now directly play songs by using the play button next to the song
You can now directly add songs to your library without playing them first
The search feature has been refined to be more user-friendly
30+ new songs (excluding MRD songs)
5 new playlists, from 80s to Electronic and more!
Scratcher Favorites playlist (15 songs voted on by Scratchers)
CPU-Friendly version now available (w/ less songs)
Other improvements:
Minor improvements to the save/load feature
Adjustments to the "song details" menu
Larger mini-player
Playlist restructuring, which involved adding MRD (Mira Royal Detective) songs to the main song menu

Why did it take so long?
ScratchMusic 2.0 was a difficult project to code for many reasons. Firstly, there were many different elements that had to work in order to get the seamless streaming experience of ScratchMusic 2.0. Secondly, the project was very large, so I had to compress many files and work within Scratch's limits in order to get the project to work. Thirdly, I wanted to take my time on this update and push out a quality, mostly bug-free version (I uploaded a BETA version to GitHub).
What is the future of ScratchMusic?
You might be wondering what our next step is for ScratchMusic. Well, we already have the next update (2.1) planned out. This smaller (but still extensive) update will add a shuffle option for playlists, and much more! Additionally, we aim to create a better version of ScratchMusic using TurboWarp's custom extensions sometime in the future!
