Recent Website Updates

We recently implemented a few website updates to better comply with Scratch guidelines and COPPA laws, as well as improve the user experience. This update includes changes to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines, a new sign-in feature for children under 13, and some general aesthetic updates. Below is a list of everything we updated:

• Changed aesthetic and layout of homepage

• Updated homepage with up-to-date and relevant information

• Changed fonts across the whole website

• Added ScratchBit™ to the Software Showcase page

• Added notices and checkboxes to email inputs

• Added "Community Guidelines" page, which outlines the rules for interacting with the website community

• Removed "Subscriptions" page, as it is now irrelevant

• Renamed "Contests" page to "Events", as it now covers all Leotime Channel events

• Updated Terms of Use

• Updated Privacy Policy

• Added more questions to FAQ

• Implemented email verification for all new users

• Added separate sign-in and parental verification for users under 13

• Removed Replit information from the website
